Transfers
Transfers are only available on certain Five ride, Weekly and Monthly multi-journey products.
Extensions, Exchanges, and Refunds
All tickets, clipcards (multi-journey products), and concessionary tickets are sold on the condition that unused portions cannot be refunded. Unused portions of tickets that have been lost or expired will not be replaced.

The products contain 5 rides and are valid for 14 days from the date of purchase.

Weekly and Monthly Products
Weekly products contain 10 rides and are valid for 30 days. Monthly products contain 48 rides and are valid for 90 days.

Termly Products
Termly products are valid for one school term, starting on the first and ending on the last day of the term. Scholars must be in full uniform when using the product.
All products are valid at intermediate points between the origin and destination. The products allow a scholar 4 rides per day.

- Go As You Please: This product is NOT valid on buses from Hout Bay to the Southern Suburbs and from Melkbos to Tableview, Milnerton and Cambridge schools.
It is also not valid on Fisantekraal, Wellington, Paarl or Stellenbosch trips.
- Go As You Please (Hout Bay): This prodcut is also valid on buses operating from Hout Bay to the Southern Suburbs.
- Go As You Please (Melkbos/Blaauwberg to Tableview/Milnerton): This product is also valid on buses operating Melkbosstrand, Eskom Village, Duinefontein and

Go Card Products
The Go Card is valid on any Golden Arrow destination except for buses operating to/from specific routes such as Atlantis, Dassenberg, Mamre/Pella, Malmesbury, Darling, and more.

Pensioner Product
The passenger needs to be at least 60 years old.The smartcard holder must be in possession of a pensioner's photo pass.The product only allows travelling Monday to Friday between 08h00 and 16h00.
No restrictions on travel over weekends and public holidays.The product is valid for 60 days from the date of purchase.Each time the product is used a ticket will be issued and the expiry date will appear on the ticket.
One journey will be deducted for one unbroken journey, irrespective of direction of travel.
The pensioner product PPPP allows 10 journeys and costs R75.50.
Jobseeker Product
The jobseeker project is running from the 14th of February 2024 until the 31st of March 2025.
Registration happens through Employing companies, selected Job agencies and Government depts.A beneficiary is entitled to 12 free rides, each with one free transfer.
There are no route restrictions.Travel is allowed between 8am and 4pm Monday to Friday.
No travel on weekends and public holidays.A beneficiary is entitled to one free replacement card and product.
Remaining rides will be transferred from the old to the new card.
Child Fares
All children under the age of 4 travelling in the care of a fare paying passenger will be carried free of charge,
provided they do not occupy a seat in the bus. Child fares only apply to children under the age of 13 years. The following child fares apply to all routes:

Disabled Fares
Guide dogs accompanying blind persons travel free of charge. A disabled person in a wheelchair pays only for themselves, with no additional charge for the wheelchair.
Bus Passes
Bus passes are issued to certain passengers under the following conditions:
- GABS EMPLOYEES: Valid all day, every day. No charge.
- GABS PENSIONERS: Valid all day, every day. No charge.
Members of SAPS and other law enforcement agencies travel free of charge when in full uniform.
